Dr. Yao-Hsien Tseng currently serves as the Department Head of Metabolism and Deputy Department Head of Internal Medicine at Tung's Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital. He also holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the National Chung Hsing University, with joint appointments in the Department of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine and the Big Data Program.

Dr. Tseng received his Ph.D. in Occupational Medicine from National Taiwan University and previously served as an Attending Physician at Taichung Veterans General Hospital for ten years. His primary areas of expertise include Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Data Science. A pioneer in interdisciplinary research, he actively investigates the application of Generative AI and machine learning in clinical medicine, alongside epidemiological studies on diabetic complications and cancer risks
